Trust & safety
ScoutHitch holds information about young people. Protecting it — and making sure every adult volunteer can use the app, whatever their abilities — are requirements for everything we build.
If a young person may be in danger
- Immediate danger: call 911 (or your local emergency number).
- Suspected abuse: report to your local child protective services or law enforcement, then follow your organization's process — for Scouting America units, the Scouts First Helpline at 1-844-726-8871.
- Misuse of ScoutHitch (someone seeing or sharing information they shouldn't): tell your unit admin and email safety@scouthitch.com.
